Shimano M520 Pedals
My honest review of the Shimano SPD M-520 Pedals
The Shimano SPD M-520 Clipless Pedals are a great choice for any rider with a range of experience, from novice riders through all the way to veterans. I have not used these pedals myself for a long period of time but the time I have spent using them I was very impress. For this reason I am going to post a few reviews from people on Amazon.

Review 1 – The M520′s are very light for pedals in their price range weighing in at just 380 grams a pair. XTR pedals are only lighter by 55 grams per pair and cost around four times as much. The pedals are really considered to be mountain bike pedals but if you have shoes with the correct cleat system there is no reason why they can’t be fitted to any bike. In fact if you have both a mountain bike and a road bike and you want to use the same pair of shoes on both the cleat system that this pedal uses is the one to go for.

Review 2 – Excellent value and brilliant product.. My 1st clipless pedals and yes! I did tip over while stationery but once bitten twice shy so they say… Have now done about 40 mile in them and wouldn’t go back to flats.

An honest overview of the famous Crank Brothers Eggbeater 1 Clipless Pedals

The Crank Brothers eggbeat 1 clipless pedals are one of the most famous sets of clipless pedals on the market, with good reason aswell. From the first glance these pedals impress with their impressive and unique minimalistic styling.

Once you get past the impressive looks of these pedals you get a great pedal at a very impressive price, the crank brothers eggbeater 1‘s come in at under $50 and you will be very hard pressed to find a better clipless pedal set for the same money.

Although the Eggbeater 1 clipless pedals may not regarded as the most refined set of pedals from the Crank Brothers range, they are still regarded as a great set of clipless pedals and are rated highly among many experienced riders including myself, this is why I highly recommend them to new or less experienced clipless pedal users.

Shimano M540 PedalsMy honest review of the Shimano A530 Clipless Pedals
The Shimano M540 clipless pedals are yet another great addition to the Shimano clipless pedals range and costing as little as $54.00 they really are made affordable to the masses. Although I found the Shimano M540 clipless pedals heavier than some of the other Shimano range, they are a great buy still with excellent durability and comfort. Many reviews I had heard before testing these pedals was that the pedals were easy to fit and excellent value for money, after road testing the M540′s for myself I have to say they were exactly as promised and done exactly what they said on the tin.

The Shimano A530 pedals weight in at 383 grams and although heavier than some of the more expensive clipless pedals they are still not on the bulky side.
